Curious. Driven. Still Climbing.

"Lift others as you climb. True growth is measured not just by what you achieve, but by how much you help others grow along the way. Stay curious, stay kind, and always be ready to lend a hand."

2025
  • Ongoing: 2025 has been a year full of new experiences, growth, and exciting opportunities—lots of things are happening!
2024
  • Started learning a lot more about graph neural networks because why not, everything in the world is connected :)
  • Had the privilege of forming an amazing capstone team with Musadiq, Nishaan, and Bhavish, guided by the Jayashree ma'am. (Truly, the best team!)
  • Got introduced to subjects like Social Computing and Advanced Data Analytics taught by Prof. Bhaskarjyothi Das, where I learned advanced concepts like causal inference and graph analytics, and how machine learning can be applied in social communities.
  • Got an opportunity to interview at Google, but could not clear it. It turned out to be an interview where I learnt a lot. I was disappointed for a while but later realized where I was and started working even harder from then on.
  • Started connecting with most of my seniors from college. Little did I know that this would be the best thing to do. Spoke to every senior that I could connect with and realized that PES University has the best seniors and alumni who are ready to help and guide.
  • Realized that summer internships 2025 were right around the corner and started preparing for it. Was still doing advanced algorithm topics like DP and graphs.
  • Began contributing to HuggingFace Diffusers, the go-to repository for open-source models. It was an exciting experience to be part of such a widely used and impactful project.
  • Got an opportunity to intern at Boltzmann Labs as a research intern. First on-site experience and was super excited about it. Being the youngest person in the room opened up a lot of learning opportunities. Had some of the most amazing mentors who not only supported but also shared their experiences on how things actually go about.
  • Published my first research paper: 'Comparative Analysis of Traffic Accident Detection with Emphasis on Explainability of DL Models', along with teammates Musadiq, Nishaan, Shivnesh, and mentor Dhriti Rajesh Krishnan, guided by KS Srinivas sir.
  • Started off with Striver's DSA Sheet for interview prep, which helped me build a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
  • I was introduced to a subject called Big Data, a course I enjoyed the most. It was all about building complex systems, analyzing tradeoffs, and choosing optimal solutions. The course pushed me to think about every possible edge case and showed me how data can be leveraged to evolve models and drive innovation.
2023
  • Ended the year by building AstuteAI, an AI-powered RAG application for YouTube and video question answering.
  • Learnt a lot about statistics, a course which gave me the absolute foundation to data science and how things evolve around math with complex looking yet simple equations. Got introduced to a few computer science fundamental subjects which I fell in love with later.
  • GPT-3.5-turbo was the model everyone was talking about, and also started exploring a bit of computer vision.
  • Worked on RAG, query engines, and Langchain (which had just launched at the time).
  • Got an opportunity to work at 3Analytics as an LLM intern. Every day brought something new to look forward to.
  • Tried my hand at open source contribution—made tons of mistakes. My initial PRs were not merged at all, but on May 20, 2023, I made my first contribution. It was a very tiny one, but seeing that PR get merged gave me a great feeling.
  • Secured a top 10 position in my first machine learning hackathon, collaborating with a team consisting of Nishaan, Bhavish, and Musadiq. Learned a lot from the experience.
  • Finishing deep learning sparked a love for NLP and led to exploring more about LLMs.
  • Realized it's not always about building things by watching tutorials; true understanding matters.
  • After an interview in a college club, a helpful senior pointed out the gaps. Thanks to that feedback, went back and completed the fundamentals of deep learning.
  • Without understanding the fundamentals of deep learning, jumped straight into GenAI—a mistake that became clear later.
  • Was almost done with machine learning when everyone started talking about LLMs and generative AI.
2022
  • Picked up Java and refreshed my understanding of basic data structures from 10th grade. Started solving problems on LeetCode, but struggled to stay consistent.
  • Made plenty of mistakes, learned from them, and managed to get back on track.
  • High school mathematics turned out to be helpful for learning the basics of calculus in machine learning.
  • ChatGPT launched and there was a lot of excitement about AI, so I started exploring its capabilities.
  • Entered PES University to pursue a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & AML), with a lot of hope and curiosity about the future.
  • Did well in exams and grew both academically and personally.
  • Worked hard for two years, learning a lot about life and priorities along the way.
2020
  • Graduated from high school (ICSE) during the challenges of a pandemic year.
